C-Dub’s locker and training rooms have been abuzz with the news of the athletic scholarship signings. Four Clovis West seniors signed letters of intent with the colleges of their choice on National Signing Day February 4 in the Lecture Hall.

The boys basketball teams have been working hard this season. January 23 gave the Eagles a hard- won victory over Buchanan 51-49. The game was a definitive one. With 16, senior DeAndre Medlock scored the most points of the team.

C-Dub junior Jonathan Her was chosen by the local chapter of the Boys and Girls club as a nominee for the Youth of the Year award and has won the chapter competition. He is currently in contention for the local competition. The award is given based on service to the club and community, academic performance, and contribution to
