The boys take on the Buchanan Bears at Stan Bledsoe field tonight looking to beat the team that has given the Eagles two of their three loses this season, 20-3. Clovis West was ranked first in the Valley, and third in the state before losing in a heartbreak game on Tuesday April 22 to Buchanan. After a flawless six innings of pitching Sean Silva gave up a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the seventh, ending the game with a final score of 3-4.

The Clovis West Science Olympiad team competed in the NorCal State Science Olympiad against competitive high schools statewide through a series of events on April 18. The Eagles placed in the top three at the Regionals at Fresno State on March 7,pushing the team towards the state level with 17 other high schools.

The new high school time-warp comedy 17 Again starring Zac Efron hit theaters this past Friday winning the top spot at the weekend box office with an estimated $24 million. The film’s plot revolves around the teen star’s character Mike who at 37 finds himself one morning 17…again! This plot may seem very familiar because it is.
