On January 9 The Fresno Bee published its Fall All-Stars in football. Out of the 24 athletes selected for the First Team, four were from Clovis West, and two Clovis West Athletes were selected for the Second Team.

Clovis West graduate John Kleckner was recently featured in an early September 2008 issue of the New Yorker for his outstanding artwork. After graduating from Clovis West in 1997, Kleckner attended University of Iowa, majoring in art. “About four years later when it was time for me to graduate, I realized that I wanted to be an artist,” Kleckner said.
