The new high school time-warp comedy 17 Again starring Zac Efron hit theaters this past Friday winning the top spot at the weekend box office with an estimated $24 million. The film’s plot revolves around the teen star’s character Mike who at 37 finds himself one morning 17…again! This plot may seem very familiar because it is. After Back to the Future, Peggy Sue Got Married and 3 remakes of Freaky Friday, the plot is hardly ground-breaking.
